heat wave hours

Posted on July 27, 2009 by chief dweller

ANNOUNCEMENT…

due to the heat wave (and the fact that our brains suffer from a heat comma in the afternoons) we have changed our hours for the week of July 27-31. we will be open 7am to 4pm for this week. we apologize for any inconvenience. if you need to reach us after 4pm, you may call our regular line (503) 719-6089 and then press the option for being transferred to the emergency line.

also, be sure to be safe out there. this extreme heat (for us oregonians) poses health and safety risks for you, your family and your pets. check out this informational piece from the department of health on tips to help bear the heat.

try to stay cool out there…

rebecca

I respect your decision to close early its mighty hott! But i have called for three days trying to get my refrigerator problem solved…Its not working and its 107 degrees and our food is getting hot! I haven’t heard back and just so you know i have called at least 10 times and there is no emergency number given anywhere on the message. Im feeling frustrated with what i am seeing as a pattern here of poor response time and disorganized dealings with your renters. I hope that this is not how things will continue..I’m beginning to miss my other management company

    Hi Heather:

Thanks for writing and sharing your comments. Per our discussion this morning, we weren’t aware that your refer had actually gone out and the maintenance request was in the system for what your previous messages had said was more of a temp fluctuation and didn’t know this was an urgent request. I’m sorry we didn’t understand what was going on or it would have been handled differently. You should hear from our repair man this morning and if not, please let us know. We hope to earn your trust again and thanks so much!

I’ve also added our emergency line to our contact information so that is published. We have a phone system that lists it as an option when the “after hours message” comes on but because our hours have changed this week, you wouldn’t have had access to that message until after 6pm. Thanks Heather for helping us see a flaw in our system!

    Rebecca
